June 2023

Words from Pastor Ron Milne

The summer months are restorative, a time when we change from the every week activities of the school year to enjoy time with family and friends—and with God. In the Jewish calendar, God set up great feast weeks. All of the Jews participated, and it gave a break from the ordinary. But, more importantly, it gave a restorative focus upon God. It gave time to reflect on what God had done and give Him thanks.

When you take breaks this summer, do not just exchange one form of busyness for another. Take time to thank God and invest in your relationship with Him. You will find your time with Him restores your soul far more than beautiful scenery or a lovely sunset. God's love for you is beautiful.

In Christ,
Pastor Ron

Hello, IBC families!

Summer is on its way, and we are excited for it!
We are still collecting items for children taken into CPS custody,
so if you'd like to donate, please do!

We appreciate your prayers that God would continue to grow and bless the CDC,
its staff, children, and families, alongside Immanuel Baptist Church.

Thank you- Ms. Nicki

Last but not Least....

Thank You!

Words cannot express our gratitude for the outpouring of love and support we have received from our church family. From Pastor Ron and his heartfelt message during the service to the amazing meal organized by the Bereavement Committee. You have sustained us during this very difficult time. We are blessed beyond measure to be part of such a wonderful church family. Thank you for the love of Christ that you have lavished on us!

Love,
The Rape and Reed Families
