Missions

"Extending God's Love, Transforming Lives Globally"

The Immanuel Baptist Church Missions Ministry exists to encourage every attendee to be Christ-centered in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Local Missions

Hope Pregnancy Center

Established in 1980, Hope Pregnancy Center in Temple, and later in Killeen and Copperas Cove, has consistently provided emotional, spiritual, and practical support to individuals confronting unplanned pregnancies. We've guided thousands through decision-making, provided free services, parenting education, and post-abortion care.

Feed My Sheep

Feed My Sheep operates on the principle of shared humanity and universal needs, particularly Christ's love. We view everyone as equal in Christ, concentrating on individuals, not issues, and fostering mutual growth, knowledge, and affection.

CTLC - Food Pantry

CTLC, an evangelical collaborative initiative, congregates churches, entities, and individuals, aiming to address essential needs such as food and clothing, thereby fostering Christ's introduction. It's a hub for resource distribution, connections to local agencies, spiritual encouragement, and volunteer opportunities.

Global Missions

Operations Christmas Child

Samaritan's Purse, an evangelical Christian entity, has since 1970 globally dispensed spiritual and physical aid to individuals affected by war, poverty, disasters, disease, and famine, fostering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are the Mid-Texas Area Collection Center for Operation Christmas Child. Each fall, thousands of Gospel-filled shoeboxes come through our church on their way to children across the world. Thank you in supporting this ministry!

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Lottie Moon was sent as a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873 to 1912. She saw firsthand the world's greatest problem — LOSTNESS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence.

She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering®.
